Everyday is torture,

As our lives grow shorter,

Can't hang on,

Can't let go,

This fire inside of me,

Burns brighter than the light around me,

It hurts me,

It breaks me,

Everything is breaking down,

As the silence comes around,

Without your voice,

Without your soul,

Half of a whole.

Just keep it, constantly changing,

My mind is angry,

I miss you,

You're the one that I can talk to,

Me and you,

All I want is to be with you,

The better part of me.

The gentleness of your tone,

The way your eyes shone,

Everything about you,

And what I am without you,

My mind is numb,

My breath is cold,

Your warmth is needed,

Everything you hold,

I love everything about you,

Everything we had discovered together,

Was uncovered even through our best endeavours,

I have to believe or I'll lose all control,

You're the one that can take hold.

I'm sitting here waiting for you to be with me,

I have no energy,

No life of my own,

I can't escape from myself,

It's harder than hell,

I'm lost in the noises,

The commotion and the chaos,

But it's all gonna pay off,

Through ashes,

Through dust,

My mind just won't let up,

I can't fight it,

Can't say no,

It's who I am, half of you, we are two parts of one.
